2009

Time flies pass before our very own eyes. 2009 is here. 1 more year towards 2010. Looking back at 2008 i felt my life is going around in circles. Wake up to Work --> From Work Place to School --> and lastly home before midnight. These are the routines i have gone countless of times and it starting to feel like it is something i must do not i choose to do.

2009 is the year i must make full sure to become a better person. There is someone out there i need to show that i am reaching higher because of you. There is only flight and no flee this time.

Towards the end of 2008, there are some joyful and happy events that are going to be remembered.

All her friends were there to congratulate Miss Lam before her status was changed to Married. She was happy and we are all happy for her.

IFC and CEN BBQ Outing – 26th Dec 2008

I never thought we had a chance to have 2 Engineering Courses student to gather together for a BBQ outing at East Coast Pask. Thanks to Jie Wei and Rui Lin for the effort to bring everyone together. We had lots of fun and I make a couple of new friends too. Here are the photos.

Fishing Prawn Day – 31st Dec 2008

The days in 2008 – I had learned and gain more knowledge. Bend myself to become a stronger and better person, began to understand the ‘cause and effect’ of things around or happen to me. 26 years it took me to realize how things could have been if all was taken notice. You can change your habits but not your character. To accept what you are, you will then begin to understand the change in you. 2009 will be another new and interesting chapter in my life.

Soon after the BBQ outing, IFC and CEN meet together for another fishing prawn outing at Pasir Ris fishing pond. I joined the group right after I got off from work. Previously our CEN gang too went fishing at West Lake side and I thought the result was really bad. Average each of us caught only 2 prawns that day.

Today at Pasir Ris Park, the result is 3 Rods but only 2 – 3 prawns were caught only :o Ha Ha what an experience I thought to myself. In the end this ‘Expert Uncle’ donated his prawns to us after seeing what a sad state we had lol. Lucky we brought some other BBQ stuff (hotdog, Crab Meat and Marshmallow) along just in case. A new ‘family’ was created in 2009 – Jiewei aka Dad / Rui Lin aka Mum / Siblings

It was great to see everyone on the last day of 2008. Pity I can’t stay till the end as I join my Sec and Pri Sch mates to Merril’s new pub. I am looking forward everyone again in the coming 2009. Till then Happy 2009!!!
